The quote identifies the alarms or detectors included, the agreed smoke or heat testing, applicable battery replacements and any maintenance or fault investigation. Sealed batteries, end-of-life devices and panel-connected systems may need a different solution; the equipment details are checked before work is agreed.
Useful records, clear next steps
The agreed service record identifies the work completed, findings and follow-up items. Tell Marc if a property manager or building owner needs a particular report. A routine service record is not an Annual Fire Safety Statement or certification of the whole property.
Plan the right testing schedule
Annual visits can be arranged, but the required frequency and scope depend on the property, equipment and applicable requirements. Other inspections or maintenance may also be needed. Send the site suburb, approximate number of devices, system make and model, and previous records if available.
